UTS Mobile App: This Indian Railways new mobile app helps the rail passengers to book and cancel unreserved railway tickets.
The Indian Railways has now brought up a new mobile app which allows booking and cancellation of unreserved railway tickets among an organiser of other features.

IRCTC has now brought up a railways new mobile app which allows booking and cancellation of unreserved railway tickets among an organiser of other features. Today, In a statement, the railway ministry mentioned that railways new mobile app will also allow issuance and renewal of platform tickets and season tickets, load and check balance in R-wallet and help in preserving booking history and user profile management.
Unreserved Booking Mobile App From Indian Railways
The new application named ‘utsonmobile’ is developed by CRIS(Centre for Railway Information System) and is available for both Windows and Android smartphones. The new application can be downloaded free of cost from Windows Store and Google Play Store.
According to the statement,“First of all, the passenger will have to register by entering his/her mobile number, city, name, default booking train type, ticket type, class, number of passenger and frequent travel routes. As the registration process is done successfully, Railway Wallet (R-Wallet) will be automatically created with zero balance. There will be no extra charges for creating R-Wallet”.
We can recharge the R-Wallet either by using available recharge option in utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in website or at any UTS counter.
Since railways new mobile app is only for booking and cancellation of unreserved railway tickets, thus, no advance ticket booking is allowed.
The statement also mentioned,“The passenger can do journey without carrying a hard copy of the ticket. Whenever TTE asks for the ticket, the passenger can use ‘Show Ticket’ option in railways new mobile app“.
